須藤温子 - 耳をすまして
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ayane Miura (三浦綺音 Miura Ayane) (born May 8, 1974) is a Japanese model, singer and stage and screen actress. As an actress she portrayed Sadako Yamamura in the 1995 Japanese TV movie Ring.
I posted some of her songs on my another blog. Kind of a bit darker, more decadent, gloomy version of Miyuki Hara, or somewhere between Yuki Saito and Elysian Fields or something like that

Ventla - Anti-Vivant
Anamanaguchiとは5,6年前にちょっとメールのやりとりをした程度で今までさしたる交流はなかったので、こういう反応は意外で嬉しい
ventla - anti-vivant
how ventla manages to produce quality releases to an extreme degree of consistency in a timely manner is beyond me. that being said this might be my fav yet. video game songs meant 2 be looped 4ever. like leaving the title screen open on ur fav jrpg and taking a nap.
interesting expression. thanks!

Getting home feeling down and finding this…
Ventla has become much more than music for me. Or rather, it’s “music” in the fullest sense of the word.
I am deeply thankful for being able to follow him on this journey.
Thank you.
WARNING: ‘READING TO MUCH INTO VENTLA’ AHEADSomehow, it feels like this music comes from a deep, hidden place; plants its seed inside me; then slowly grows its way out, making me open up to the world bit by bit, aiding me.
Ugh, I know this all sounds embarrassingly pretentious, I wish I didn’t have to use words. But I really feel like saying all this stuff.
Maybe it’s just me, but lately ventla’s albums seem to have taken a turn towards a much more introspective, cathartic place. “mummified already” was catharsis at its most intense, looking within into inner turmoil and memories, a distant world not belonging to other people, just belonging to oneself.
Now the turmoil has calmed down and it’s time to reflect. Like the album art, this feels like an afternoon spent indoors, sometimes cheerful, sometimes falling into melancholy. The musical ideas aren’t expanded, they’re just feelings, transitory, glimpses into much bigger worlds but through a very tiny keyhole. Still, that tiny glimpse is enough to fill your heart with a sense of wonder for life, both fearful wonder and loving wonder. Both “down to earth, sitting around the house doing day-to-day stuff”, and “the essense of it it all”.
An afternoon spent indoors alone without moving can sometimes allow your heart to move much more than you’d imagine, and flutter from feeling to feeling like this album, taking in so many feelings it’s painful. But a pain that heals you.OK, when a rant starts to sound like nu-metal lyrics it’s time to stop.
thanks for the review!
